Here they are Goals For 2008
I don’t really have any resolutions…but I do have some goals for 2008 that I thought I would share for accountaboility and so I could keep thim written down
Perry Noble made me think of these and it stuck - so here they are!
#1 - To SERIOUSLY discern God’s direction for my life and what I do in serving at this church.
This will take me intentionally carving out more time in my schedule to spend in solitude, purposefully being quiet so that I may better hear His voice (this is so hard for me to do). I need to get away once every 12 weeks.
#2 - To be a wildly romantic husband!
- spend time with Tricia away and without the boys weekly (this can happen!)
#3 - To continue to grow in wisdom as a father!
I have to admit sometime–when it comes to raising kids…I’m a Moran, I am praying more and more for God to fill me with His wisdom so that I don’t screw being a dad up (see my 20 things for this year)
#4- To do at least 20 new things I’ve never done before.
1. Sky Dive
2. Ride my long board to the office 1 or 2x a week
3. Live at 220 pounds for at least 6 months
4. Volunteer at Luke's school 1 every 2 weeks
5. Get my house ready to sell or sold this year
6. Fix the Blazer's engine in my garage on my own (huge)
7. Walk with Tricia 2X's a week
8. Put in a new Bathroom floor in all bathrooms of our home
9. Ride in a sail boat
10. Run 10 miles straight (in one run)
11. Make dinner for the whole family (all sides)
12. Skate board in Santa Cruz, CA
13. Skate board in Santa Monica CA
14. Have "son" time (dinner, etc) with each boy every week alone
15. One just for Tricia (sorry I wont share this one out loud)
16. Get my concealed weapons permit
17. Drive in a firetruck (with the lights on)
18. Swim in a waterfall
19. Spend the night at Timberline lodge
20. Get organized (utilize the tools God has given me)
That’s about it–we’ll see what happens - so here we go!
